Frequently asked questions

What people ask us.

If something is missing, ask us in writing and we will check it.

How long does the crossing take?

Between 25 and 35 minutes, depending on the boat and the company.

Who operates the route?

Three ferry companies: Fred. Olsen Express, Líneas Marítimas Romero and Naviera Armas. Between the three of them there are many departures a day.

Why don't you list the prices?

Because they change by season, by company and by ticket type, and publishing a figure we have not checked today would be misleading you. We link you to each company's website, which is where the real fare is.

Can I take the hire car?

The ferry companies accept vehicles on this route, but check the terms of your rental agreement: many companies do not allow the car to be taken off the island without authorisation.

Is it the same as the boat to Isla de Lobos?

No. Lobos is an islet 15 minutes from Corralejo, with its own permit and a different kind of boat: see it here.

And if you stay in the north.

Corralejo is the port for both crossings.
