Grupo Oby's ferry leaves from the port of Corralejo and reaches the islet in about 15 minutes. You choose the outbound and return times; the permit from the Cabildo (the island council) is separate and free.

- 01Get the permit
It is free and you apply on the portal the Cabildo links to. Choose the time slot that covers your visit: morning (10:00–14:00) or afternoon (14:00–18:00). How to apply for it.
- 02Choose your outbound and return
Departures from Corralejo at 09:45, 11:00, 12:30 and 15:45; returns from Lobos at 14:00, 16:15 and 17:15. Timetables and how to fit them to the permit.
- 03Confirm it with us
You write to us on WhatsApp and we check the place, the time and the day's fare with Grupo Oby. Then you book and pay the operator directly: Majovibe does not charge you anything.
- 04Board
Arrive with 30 or 45 minutes to spare (that is our recommendation, not an operator rule). Grupo Oby recommends bringing swimwear, a towel, something warm, a cap and sun cream.
What is there when you step off.
According to the operator: hiking, the volcano, the lighthouse and the lagoons, and a swim at La Concha beach with snorkelling among fish. There are no shops and no shade: bring water and a cap.
Two ways to cross.
Both leave from Corralejo and are run by Grupo Oby, but they are not the same thing.
- 01Direct ferry
Scheduled transport: you go to the island, spend as long as you like there within your permit time slot and come back on one of the return sailings. Adult €17, child €11, infant free.
- 02Celia Cruz mini cruise
A catamaran trip with underwater viewing: it leaves at 12:30 and, according to the catalogue, ends at around 14:00. It includes one drink on board and about 30 minutes for swimming or snorkelling (mask and snorkel are provided). It can be combined with a visit to the island. Adult €28, child €18. Staying in the south? On Fridays, Grupo Oby combines the 11:00 ferry with a bus from the south and also offers the Freebird catamaran with transfer, which is not the Celia Cruz mini cruise. Getting there from the south.

How long does the crossing take?
About 15 minutes' sailing, according to the operator.
How much does it cost?
On Grupo Oby's price list, €17 per adult, €11 per child, and infants do not pay. On 30 September 2026 the operator confirmed to us that prices have not changed; even so, we confirm the day's fare to you before you book.
Does the ticket include the permit?
No. The Cabildo's permit is free and applied for separately; without it you cannot set foot on the island. How to apply for it.
Which boat do you travel on?
In Grupo Oby's catalogue, the regular line is covered by the Ferry Isla de Lobos (24 metres, 112 seats) and the catamaran Celia Cruz (20 metres, 145 seats). Which boat runs each departure is decided by the operator.
And if the sea is rough?
Departures depend on sea conditions and are decided by the operator. That is why we confirm the time with Grupo Oby before you book. For the excursions from the south, if the operator cancels, it offers rebooking and refunds, as it told us on 8 October 2026.
